Teriyaki Burgers

Grilling Season
Continues

Of course he can’t just make a plain ol’ cheeseburger… He’s gotta spice things up a bit. & thank goodness. Because she would continue to eat her cheeseburgers with… just… cheese…

& surprisingly, she doesn’t even need cheese on this burger. Maybe just add an extra pineapple.

Burgs
& Pines

Mix 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs, one egg, two tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, & two tablespoons of freshly minced ginger. Make yo’ patties. Grill ‘em up. When the burgs are about ready, glaze them with more teriyaki sauce.

Don’t forget about the pineapples. Throw on some sliced pineapples for about three minutes on each side.

Top it off

Feel free to toast your buns… he’s a fan of that. We used sweet onion buns for a sweet extra kick.

Then simply add your favorite toppings (especially more pineapples).

our local finds

Red Barn Farm

These burgers were even better using local meat (used ground beef pictured). If you are ever in the STL area, hop on the other side of the river to stock up on these meats. Red Barn Farm is usually found at local Farmer's Markets in the Metro East Area.

Sugar Creek

This thick cut bacon is perfect for any burger (honestly... it's perfect for anything, even just eating solo). We chose the hickory smoked bacon from Sugar Creek (also found at one of the local Farmer's Markets), & it did not disappoint.

This looked extremely delicious! I’m a huge fan of teriyaki burgers, the sweet tangy flavor with a sea salt burger patty is so good to me. I really like how you added bacon! 👍🤤 Now I don’t have to go to Carl’s Jr for this burger, I can make it at home. I like your style of writing and food blog are my favorite to read, will definitely give your blog a follow😁

Thank you… normally I need cheese on everything (seriously… it’s a problem)! But the pineapple is such a great addition that I actually ate the entire thing and THEN realized that there wasn’t any cheese. Sooo yes… definitely would suggest this!
