PB&J Burger

PB&J... Burger?

Creating different types of burgers has become a new hobby of ours… & by ours, we really mean his (like she came up with this).

We love peanut butter & spicy jam. So why not combine them? Might just start putting all of our favorites on burgers. Pizza? Tacos? Ice cream…

Couple Specialties

Any pepper jam will work. We like this Jalapeno Pepper Jam from the Soulard Spice Shop. St. Louis-ians, the Soulard Farmer’s Market is an awesome experience & definitely worth a visit.

Any cheese works as well. If you are on the Illinois side, we grabbed this Marcoot Jersey Creamy Garlic Herb Cheese Curds from the Maryville Farmer’s Market. Definitely let it melt on the burgs.

& for peanut butter… well… we just used your regular creamy PB. Peter Pan? JIF? Skippy?

Toasted Buns

So we used Sourdough bread & simply toasted ’em on da grill. Smother on the PB, add your burger with melted cheese (or cheese curds in this case), & simply add the spicy jam on top.

Bacon would probably also go well on this because let’s be honest, it’s great on everything. But this sweet & spicy combo can’t be beat.
