Myrtle Beach Favorites

Restaurant Loves

Earlier this summer, we had the privilege to travel with her family to Myrtle Beach, SC. Luckily, we were able to try MANY different restaurants since we had a variety of people… 8 adults, 2 kiddos. Mexican food lovers. Hibachi grill lovers. & even… Seafood lovers. That’s right. For those of you who skipped our exciting About Us page (sarcasm), we, unfortunately, are not Seafood fans. However, our family loves Seafood & we have the best spots for you to try!

Hook & Barrel

Hook & Barrel (pictured above) is a well known seafood spot down in Myrtle Beach. Her family loved it so much that they were dying to go back all week long. Their favorite part was definitely this seafood tower which included raw oysters, crab claws, shrimp cocktail, ceviche, & lobster tail.

Yamato
&
Nacho Hippo

We are huge fans of hibachi grills & Mexican restaurants so we definitely hit them up while on vaca.

Yamato Japanese Steakhouse Sushi Bar (pictured above) did not disappoint. Not only is the food savory, but the experience makes it completely worth while. & this restaurant is part of the Broadway at the Beach which is filled with shops, restaurants, bars, & museums.

Nacho Hippo has a very upbeat atmosphere with creative cocktails & margaritas, & of course, some of the best Mexican food we have ever had.

Other Favorites

Thoroughbreds Steakhouse not only had some of the best steaks around, but their appetizers like the fried green tomatoes & their desserts like the Triple Crown or the Flaming Bananas Foster prepared table side were to die for.

If you enjoy good pasta, Luigi’s Trattoria is your stop. This family friendly restaurant will leave you feeling full & satisfied.
