Grill Season
Since it is still grill season, we figured we would share some of our favorites with you. Keep in mind, she rarely ever ate veggies. But these veggies on the grill have changed her life. Have small ones who aren’t fans of vegetables? Maybe this can help.
These sides might also be a great addition to any Labor Day party you have coming up.
Corn without Butter??
This is our favorite. He simply mixed together a little chipotle powder, garlic salt, cumin, & paprika with olive oil then basted it on top before throwing them on the grill.
It’s seriously so delicious that you won’t even need or want butter on it.
We also usually cut our corn off the cob so it’s easier to eat. Check out our blog in the link below for an easy trick to do this.
Asparagus Lovers
Usually we have been grilling zucchini like it’s our job, but this time we decided to venture out & get some asparagus. Asparagus is one of his favorites, especially when it’s grilled.
For these, he simply used salt & pepper. We usually marinate them in some Italian Dressing (but we are currently in the middle of a Whole 30 Challenge). However, we definitely encourage you to try the dressing!
Other Favorites
We also enjoyed these bacon wrapped filets from Decatur, Illinois. Simply cook on both sides for your desired amount then rotate the steaks on their side to crisp up the bacon.
We even throw fruit on the grill for an additional burger topping. We made Teriyaki Burgers & these grilled pineapples were perfect. Check out the link below.
Zucchini is another vegetable that we have grilled A LOT this summer. In fact, we have an entire blog about it. You can also check that out below.
We have many more grilling recipes, including our BBQ Drumsticks & our Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs, from this summer on the blog.
