Blueberry/Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies

4th of July Celebration

Need a 4th of July dessert that will have everyone bragging about your baking?! This recipe is your go to!

4 oz cream cheese

1/2 cup butter flavored crisco

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

1 (7oz) box strawberry muffin mix

1(7oz) box blueberry muffin mix

1 cup white chocolate chips

Step by step Plan

Again, she makes this, which means, you can make it. AND she not only doubled the recipe… not even tripled the recipe… but she quadranglized… quadrupalized… okay whatever, she times 4-ed it!

1. Start with mixing your cream cheese, butter flavored cirsco (which, yes, freaks her out too that it doesn’t need to be refridgerated), & brown sugar.

2. Mix in the egg & vanilla. Scrape sides of the bowl.

More steps

3. Mix in flour & boxes/packets of muffin mix. Add in white chocolate chips.

4. Roll cookie dough into small balls (& if you are like her, squish ’em). You can leave them balled up, but she prefers to squish them down. –>

Bake 'em

Now, she is crazy when it comes to baking. Yeah yeah, she’s crazy in general. But bare with her on this.

Bake cookies in oven set at 325* for 14 minutes.

SHE bakes them for 8.5 minutes, then flips them around in the oven & puts them in for the additional 4.5 minutes. She likes them gooey. If they are too underdone, then add a couple more minutes. But that is just her take on it.

That sounds good. I am assuming it woulld be just as good with chocolate chips. Good job. They even look good. #notafanofwhitechocolateanything

I would definitely think chocolate chips would be good. My husband is not a fan AT ALL of white chocolate, but even he likes these. I have made them before without any chocolate chips and they were good!
